Role Overview: Youth Sports Coach
As a Youth Sports Coach, you will lead structured weekly sessions for children ranging from 18 months to 14 years old. Your primary responsibility will be guiding them through fun and engaging activities designed to promote their physical and social development. You will create a positive, safe, and energetic learning environment where children can thrive, building their skills while having fun.
About Branchburg Sports Complex
Branchburg Sports Complex (BSC) is one of New Jersey's premier sports and entertainment facilities, offering a wide range of activities for children and families. Our mission is to foster a fun, energetic, and educational environment where young athletes can develop not only their physical skills but also their social, cognitive, and emotional growth through sports.
Responsibilities
- No prior coaching experience necessary—training is provided.
- Provide an engaging and positive on-field experience during every class.
- Follow lesson plans that detail the games and activities for each session.
- Ensure adherence to safety guidelines specific to Lil' Kickers programming.
- Set up, clean up, and maintain the field for each class.
- Support grassroots marketing and community event efforts.
- Complete all required Lil' Kickers training as scheduled.
- Work consistent shifts throughout each session. Must be available on Saturday and/or Sunday mornings.
- Arrive each day with a positive attitude, ready to make a difference and have fun.

- Ideal candidates are team players who are reliable, passionate, and dedicated to going the extra mile for the kids.
- Desired qualities include honesty, creativity, a willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic. Coaches should be enthusiastic and always striving to do their best.
